
Happy Birthday, Roger! Our man turns thirty-one years old today, the second time in just a few weeks that he adds a numero uno next to his name.
Roger’s a man for all seasons and surfaces, and what’s become clear in the past couple years is that he’s a very young thirty-one, especially for a tour-tested professional tennis player. Relatively injury and angst free, his passion for the game remains as strong as a love-struck teenager’s. When he peaked this summer with a seventh Wimbledon title and a return to the top of the rankings, it was clear that Roger had found that secret reset button on fountain of athletic youth. But before we start frazzling over Rio 2016, I thought it would be fun to celebrate with a few videos showcasing Roger’s secret to tennis immortality: staying silly!
