Novak Djokovic, left the Davis Cup battle to his compatriots in Nova Sad – and quite the battle it was, despite the eventual 4-1 scoreline for Serbia – and followed Roger Federer to Los Angeles for a weekend of fun before Indian Wells begins this coming week. (Hey, Lorrie, can you tell where Nole’s hanging out in that photo?)

LA – Hollywood- Beverly Hills – Malibu. These are the places I visited so far on the West Coast (yo yo yo) I keep on noticing people around me who are probably there because they are dreaming of becoming actors or actively trying to be ones…. it is just incredible! :)The weather is perfect, people are very kind and easy going which makes me feel quite comfortable – almost as if I am their citizen
*UPDATE* Now you are, Nole, a citizen of TMZ-landia.
YAY! Some LA love! I’ve always thought that Novak should have a base in L.A., the perfect place for him to work on his second career as an actor. When his tennis career is over, he can take some acting classes, and open Novak LA restaurant/nightclub on the Strip. More via Facebook:
I had a great night last night. Went to some club and met some great people! LA is really crazy city, always something going on. Anyway, even though all this is nice (partying& chilling) I still prefer living in my world – tennis world So after two days of rest, i am heading to IW to start my strict eat – sleep -practice regime
Though these days having fun is hard work – Nole’s new to Twitter (“My official twitter account is DjokerNole don’t laugh”) and apparently needs some help figuring it out: “Guys, sorry – this twitter is killing me. It’s nothing like fb so i need to figure it out these days. In IW i’ll ask for little tutorial :)”
I’m sure he’s a quick learner. And I love his Twitter photo:
*Also in LA yesterday was Kolya Davydenko. Fritters was flying back from London and spotted Nikolay and his wife (and Johnny Rotten) on the plane. Didn’t ask for any autographs, though. . .I bet Kolya would have been thrilled to be recognized.
