YAY! Thanks to my wonderful readers, I get to check out some great new Roger Federer photos even though I’m still locked out of the forums on Roger’s new website. (I will be contacting the webmaster, as you all have suggested.)
But enough about us – Roger Federer now has his own walk of fame! In Switzerland of course. It’s all thanks to his Swiss sponsor, Jura, maker of high end coffee machines. Here’s the scoop via Jura’s website:
Roger Federer Walk of Fame
Since 2006, JURA has been working with Roger Federer as its brand ambassador. Both share common values, such as Swiss origin, hard work, precision, elegance and the pursuit of perfection.
Now, JURA is unveiling a monument to the most successful tennis player of all time at its headquarters in Niederbuchsiten: the world’s first ROGER FEDERER WALK OF FAME – an absolute must for all fans of the charismatic sporting legend.
Visit the first official “Federer experience” and follow in the footsteps of this exceptional tennis player. Roger Federer has very kindly loaned original trophies, outfits and other memorabilia to make the WALK OF FAME a truly unique visitor experience. The articles on show include Roger’s first ATP trophy and an original Wimbledon cup.
A particular highlight is that visitors can also get a souvenir photo taken with Roger on the prestigious lawn of Wimbledon.
Roger Federer visited his personal theme park on Thursday, hanging with fans, chatting with his family and physio Pierre Paganini, and signing coffee machines. In case you weren’t there:
Jura has 80-something photos on their website. I snagged a few of my favorite shots – click here to check out the whole series.
Roger does a Robbie impersonation:

There’s another great batch of photos from the event at Glanz und Gloria (thanks, Judy!), including a Mirka candid!
Even without the giant shears, Roger’s unfazed by his doppelgänger.
Thanks to Nusi, jfk and judy for bringing these to our attention!
