ACK! Change! I’ve made fun of Roger Federer’s sorta outdated website before, but now that he’s redesigned it, I don’t know what to think.
Roger’s excited about it (via a post on the new RogerFederer.com):
I am excited to present my revamped website!
I am lucky to have such a great fan following in the ‘real’ world as well as on the web. We are currently counting over 310,000 members on my website and almost 3.5 million people have visited the site this year. It is thus a pleasure for me to be able to give all of you something in return. We have focused on designing the new site in a classic and clear way – something easy and enjoyable. I am sure you will appreciate the new technology, design and functions and I am already looking forward to reading your feedback.
See you soon

I CAN’T GET INTO THE FORUMS! When I click on a category I’m told I need to log in – but I’m already logged in! Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions?
There’s something unpolished about the design. Was the fuzzy RF logo screen grabbed from the Nike site? And I know the color scheme is meant to be gold and white, a la Roger’s pristine Wimbledon attire, but it looks beige and white on my screen. Uninspired.
Also, I always liked how Roger’s website changed colors according to time of year – blue for hardcourts, red for clay, green for Wimbledon, etc. I’m hoping we’re just doing beige since this is kind of the beige part of the season. . .
What do you think?
And we all know Roger’s anything if uninspiring. He’s playing next at the Davidoff Swiss Indoors in Basel, his first-round match scheduled for 6.30 pm, local time, on Monday, November 1.
