Stanislas Wawrinka has hired coach Peter Lundgren, reports AftonBladet via TENNIS.com

Peter Lundgren on the new pairing:

“When I asked what he wanted help with, he said he wants to return to the Top 10. It’s what you want to hear as a coach.

“I’m going to try to get Stan to become more aggressive.”

Peter Lundgrens coaching resume:

• coached Marcelos Rios and took him to the top 10.
• coached Roger Federer to win his first major title at Wimbledon
• coached Marat Safin to win the 2005 Australian Open title
• 2006 he helped out with the British Davis Cup team for 2 years
• 2008 Lundgren took some time off because his father was ill
• 2008 he began to coach Marcos Baghdatis.
• February of 2009 began coaching Grigor Dimitrov from Bulgaria

They start working together as soon as next week. Stanislas Wawrinka parted ways with his longtime coach in June.
