But wait, there’s more!
Why not take a break from toasting Francesca and tune into the men’s final on Sunday? It’s between this clay court specialist named Rafael Nadal and some ball basher from Sweden going by Robin Soderling. Could be pretty interesting. . . In the U.S., the men’s Roland Garros final will be broadcast live on NBC starting at 9:00 a.m. on the east coast. Click here for French Open live streaming options.

Men’s Singles – Finals Robin Soderling(SWE) vs. Rafael Nadal(ESP)
Rafa enjoys a slight 3-2 head-to-head advantage vs. the Swede, though Soderling has beaten Rafa the last two times they’ve played – in round robin play in London’s World Tour Finals and in the fourth found of Roland Garros last year.
Some pre-match chatter:
Q. This year you won everything. Are you the early favorite, or would you share this spot as a favorite?
RAFAEL NADAL: Well, I think we’re both favorites. We both made it to the final, so we both have a chance to win the final. Of course it’s not going to be easy for none of us, but I think it’s going to be a tough final. It’s going to be the best player win the final, so it’s difficult to answer your question.
Q. But there is a difference between last year and this year. I mean, now it is for the title against Nadal, and you’ve beaten him.
ROBIN SODERLING: Well, yeah, there’s always a difference. Every match is different. Every tournament is different.
But, again, to play a final here, it’s great. Hopefully I can handle it a little bit better this year than I did last year, because last year everything was so it was so new for me. Now I got used to it a little bit more. You know, I played many matches against Roger in both Wimbledon and US Open last year, against Rafa in Masters. I played many matches against good players. I think I learned from everyone all that matches. Hopefully I can do better this year.
I posted a few random videos to get you in the mood for Sodal Fest 2010. Or is it Naderling?
Rafa’s birthday – love the candle torches and the greetings from Almagro and Ferrero. . .
Come on, I just had to post this one!
