Friday is quarterfinal day at the Rome Masters, and the line up is looking good. Spaniards Verdasco, Ferrer and of course, Nadal, are all at peak form right now, and guys like Tsonga and Djokovic are always looking to play a thriller. Wawrinka may not have the firepower to press clay GOAT Nadal, but at least he has that pretty one hander. Speaking of pretty, F-Lo and Ernie face off in the male version of a cupcake match. (And how crazy is it that F-Lo’s an expectant dad?!)
If you think the quarterfinals would be even better if Roger Federer was taking part, well, he and Yves Allegro are doin’ it in the doubles. The Swiss duo takes on the American Twin Towers in Friday’s doubles quarterfinals.
