Yes, I laughed aloud when I read Peter Bodo’s take on Roger Federer’s recent losses:
“I’m just not that comfortable getting negative about the game of the all-time Grand Slam singles champion, even if he himself is – not when he’s won three of the last four Grand Slam’s he’s entered, and may have failed to take the fourth for the same reason that a guy who just finished a spectacular five-course dinner might choose to pass on the chocolate-covered macadamia nut Grand Marnier brownie flambe.”
Roger turn down chocolate? Never! Though my inner Fedophile always welcomes a new explanation for Roger’s more inexplicable losses. During the third set of last year’s US Open final, did he just start feeling. . .full?
