Seriously, she’s one smart woman. Here’s Shakira on why she chose Rafa for the video:

Translation: “I thought that maybe I needed someone I could make out with – over and over again for multiple takes. And Rafael Nadal is a person who has been totally hot and sexy and adorable since he was very young. Since he was 17, I believe.”
Yep, being an international pop sensation has its perks – like you can say “I want to make out with Rafael Nadal.” And it happens.
Just more proof that being a tennis blogger wasn’t the wisest career move. Sigh. . .
