Lest you think Ana Ivanovic is spending all of her off-season at the beach or at golf tournaments with her boyfriend, I provide you with these photos from her visit to the Underwater World aquatic park in Mooloolaba, Queensland. She attended last week with her family, boyfriend Adam Scott and his family (things are getting serious, huh?) The park is near Brisbane, where Ana will participate in her first WTA event of 2010 at the Brisbane International starting on January 3.

According to the Herald Sun, Ana was especially taken with (by?) an Australian fur seal named Groucho:

The way Groucho was working his flippers on tennis ace Ana Ivanovic yesterday, it’s a wonder he wasn’t hired as the Serb’s fourth Australian conditioning coach in the past year.

But “Aussie Ana” is happy with her latest conditioner, Damien Prasad, as she embarks on a summer of redemption at her training base near Noosa.

Ivanovic was impressed with Groucho’s touch, just as she is pleased with her male support team.

“It’s different working with the girls to the guys. It helps that he (coach Sven Groenefeld) knows me that well that he understands what I’m going through, even without me expressing myself so much.”

Yes, it seems that Ana’s beau Adam Scott, must share her not only with Australian fur seals but with her tennis racquet, coach and new trainer as well (via Sunshine Coast Daily):

“I’m working really hard in the off-season with little bits and pieces coming together, but I’m really happy with the progress,” Ivanovic said.

“That’s definitely helpful and I’m very much looking forward to a new tournament and competition, because I haven’t played much of the matches lately.

“I just want to focus on the big picture and try to get lots of matches in and Brisbane is a great place to start. I love playing here and I really enjoyed this year (2009 tournament).

“I just want to get into competition. I’ve really missed it. I’m basically going in without expectations but I know if I perform well, I can go far.”

Hmm, not sure what she means about the “little bits and pieces” but I’m going to start the year thinking positive for Aussie Ana!

Thanks for the tip, Jon!
