After leading his team to victory over the Italians in Davis Cup on Sunday, Roger Federer met with fashion legend Giorgio Armani:

Keep in mind that Mr. Armani is to Italy what Rafanatic Placido Domingo is to Spain (um, R.I.P. Luciano Pavarotti.) So the fact that Roger would meet with a man of Armani’s stature while playing in Italy has nothing – nothing! – to do with Vogue editrix-in-chief, Anna Wintour, who the Guardian newspaper claims “controls Federer . . .with her death-ray stare.” It’s just that players like Fed and Rafa have some major V.I.Ps in their fan clubs.

Defensive? Who the heck are you calling defensive? Back off! That means you, Anna!
