The US Open seeds are out! With Andy Murray breaking up the Nadal/Federer hold on the top two spots, this year’s men’s draw is open to all sorts of possibilities – Federer, Nadal and Roddick could all be on the same side of the draw, for instance. On the women’s side, we have the perennial question: will Venus (seeded 3) and Serena (seeded 2) meet before the final? And an intriguing one: are former US Open champs Maria Sharapova (seeded 29) and the resurgent Kim Clijsters (unseeded) better prospects for the title than top-seeded Dinara Safina? Or for that matter, the Williams sisters, who have been floundering since Wimbledon?
Here’s the list via ESPN:

The draw will be announced Thursday, August 27. ESPN News will be broadcasting the draw live at 12pm Eastern.
