The ATP is in Cincy this week for the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters, part of the US Open Series. Once again, the draw is packed with title contenders, especially in the top half. Andy Murray is the defending champ.
On paper quarterfinals: Federer vs. Roddick and Murray vs. Del Potro* on the top half and Davydenko vs. Djokovic and Tsonga vs. Nadal on the bottom.
*UPDATE – 8/17/09: Del Potro has pulled out of Cincy with fatigue.
Tennis Channel will be picking up the early rounds with ESPN2 coming in at the end of the week. Also, note that CBS will be broadcasting Sunday’s final.
