I’ve always thought that Roger has a future in diplomacy – or politics. He’s just so smooth.

I’d love a Murray vs. Fed final! Or a Roddick vs. Fed final. Hoping that we get an Andy vs. Andy semi, too. Murray Mania is definitely going to provide the drama not that there’s no possibility for Federer vs. Nadal.

YES! That’s the best idea ever! Or how about a reality show where they both have to live in a Wimbledon rental house together for the fortnight? And do various challenges – and if Roger lost any of the challenges (beer pong? Pictionary?) he’d have to say: “Andy Murray is a favorite at Wimbledon.” If Murray lost he’d have to say: “Winning Masters series isn’t as good as winning Slams.”

Oh, and why not throw Djokovic and his dad in there, too?

It sounds like the media will do anything to get a sound bite of RF talking smack about Murray. They both should just go get drunk at a pub before Wimbledon together and hope some photographers are there to put an end this nonsense.

I agree completely, for Roger to be promoting Djokovic’s chances over Murray’s is a real giveaway that he DOES consider him as his main threat after Nadal’s departure. Especially considering Djokovic’s middling form at Halle compared to Murray’s impressive grass court play winning the title at Queen’s.

Would have loved a Nadal vs Fed final but really routing for Murray vs Fed now…I think it’s the only match up that has some of the psychological intensity of the Fed/Nadal rivalry. Any other opponent would lack that dynamic I think.
