Forget the guys name, but he obviously has a bone to pick. I read somewhere that Roger's played more Davis Cup matches in his career than even Andy Roddick has. So I think the reaction to him not playing is a little rough. I'm finally getting around to reading his biography and those Davis Cup wins and losses were some of the most emotional in his career. So I'm kind of over the whole "Roger doesn't give a damn for Davis Cup" thing - I think most top players at some point have to give in to their own needs. I do hope he plays DC later on in his career, though. Also interesting - the biography talks A LOT about Roger's back problems, which go back to ca. 2002 and have effected him in big matches, before. Most any player in the history of the game would be pretty pleased about that! And Nadal is an amazing player -- losing to him is hardly a dishonor. How can we expect Roger to win every match against him? I would like to know Bodo's "unidentified source" -- his gardener? his analyst? a fellow journalist with an anti-Federer bias?
