Please, someone, explain! This shocking report from the Sun-Sentinel (click here) is from a week ago, yet I just discovered it today:
Jose Higueras, who squired Roger Federer through the clay court season, will not be coaching the world No. 1 at Wimbledon. Federer is back into no-coach mode and Higueras is back coaching Robby Ginepri, who is hoping the California-based former USTA coach can perform some magic here. . .
What the hell? Is Roger flying so low under the radar that his changing coaching situation isn’t hot news? Is this a temporary separation, or a bitter response to the Roland Garros final? Will it affect Roger’s play? ACK! This is really throwing me for a loop!
