I can’t BELIEVE what I’m watching. NBC just fast forwarded through almost all of the second set of the Nadal/Djokovic match. Gotta start Days of Our Lives on schedule I guess. This makes me sick and I’m gonna tell NBC about it. You should too:

Dear Mr. Ebersol,
I appreciate NBC’s decision to show HD coverage of Roland Garros. The commentators are good. But I have to object strongly to the way NBC has broadcast the matches so far. I was shocked today when NBC skipped through almost the entire second set of the Nadal v. Djokovic semi final match. It would be like skipping the third quarter of Game 2 of the NBA finals. As I’m sure you know, Roland Garros is one of the most important tennis tournaments of the year, and Nadal and Djokovic are two of the most exciting players on tour. To butcher their match like you did today ruins the experience for the fans and confuses new viewers. It’s a shame.
Obviously, I’m not a network executive, and I can’t provide any advice on the intricacies of scheduling. But if NBC sports decides to show the semis and finals of a major tennis tournament, you must commit to doing it well.
Please do right by the sports you choose to broadcast.
