I’ve been traveling for a month, which is why I have not been following the tennis news or posting for a while.  Go Maria’s message re: Roger losing to Andy Murray in the first round motivated me to hop on the WiFi at my hotel and write this message. Let’s not worry too much, Roger fans, he’s been on a LONG break and Andy is a really tough first round match up for anyone. We’re on notice now:  it’s going to be a fight to beat Pete’s record. I, for one, believe that our man’s going to do it (imagine gray-haired Roger making it to 13 slams at the ripe old age of 32 – at Wimbledon, of course!)
